BirdBarnBridge
Constructed of long-span open-web joists and corrugated fiberglass panels, BirdBarnBridge (BBB) is an iconic public infrastructure amidst agrarian landscape. Inspired by historic barns and covered bridges that dot the English countryside even today, the BBB is thus an overlapping typology, made of simple, traditionally-agrarian, easily available, unassuming yet long-lasting materials, used in slightly non-traditional ways. A link between nature/agriculture and city/industry, the BBB is a bird habitat, a civic structure and a monumental vernacular architecture.
