From LA to New York lay vast grey fields — abandoned asphalt-covered parking lots with large-span empty warehouses. This infrastructure designed fifty years ago to support the contemporary way of living then is clearly failing today. Instead of continuing to ignore the ruins of this deteriorating infrastructure, we propose to reappropriate it.
