We propose a simple, cheap, and very prosaic structure. A typical red barn dots the rural landscape; and for centuries these simple wood frame & weatherboard buildings contained anything from grain to livestock to antiques. Aside from their simplicity, there is also a certain mystique about this multipurpose rural structure – imagine that the Barn will now leave its usual rural landscape, migrate to the city, and house Art!

Unglamorous vinyl façade, supergraphics, benches made of pink and blue rigid insulation, green astroturf… and art – the Elevated will meet the Mundane as the Rural is inserted into the Urban.
